So January has gone by so much faster than I expected. Work has been absolutely flat out too. So many things on the go at the moment it’s really quiet insane.
Obviously Christmas went well, you could read as much from the last post. Melly and I spent the long weekend down at the coast with my folks. We had a great time. Beaching, spending time in the spa, reading… Generally just relaxing to our hearts content. Gypsie came with us too. She was a very good girl, especially since she had to be on a lead the whole time since Mum and Dad’s place has no fences….and also because huskies love to run…… and run….. and run.
It’s always a shame however when holidays end. The most frustrating thing about it is that time at work always seem like it takes sooooo much long then time spent away from work. It’s almost as if I just start to relax and BHAM! Back into it. Sigh..
On the topic of work, things are going pretty well. For the first time since I’ve started working in this latest job I’ve actually earned a sales bonus! An additional $1000 should pad my account next pay. Hooray for me! I really don’t like the fact that I have to SELL insurance to people in addition to simply providing customer service. I’d rather just stick with the customer service and ditch the selling part. Selling often seems so ingenuine. To be honest also, most people are rather stupid when it comes to protecting their investments and don’t generally appreciate the quality of insurance they are buying. Which makes it hard when I happen to sell probably the most expensive insurance on the market. But that’s what I’m payed to do, so I do it anyway.
