Thought it was about time I updated as I’ve been slack over the past few weeks. All is going well here in Woombie town. Just finished 4 weeks of training for my new job. All-in-all it’s going well, but there’s definitely a learning curve that I’ll need to overcome.

I’ve been planning on writing some meaningful posts about a number of different topics that have crossed my mind. Topics such as the recent sentencing of Shapel Corby, my frustration with uneducated views of Christianity, thoughts on recent scripture passages I’ve been reading, and the seeming futility of daily life. Unfortunately I’m that tired from work that until I settle into this new job I don’t think I will be writing much of anything.

Thanks to Amanda, I might have some web development work coming up in a few weeks which is great! I’ve become so completely bored with my computer lately that I’m struggling to find things of interest to keep me occupied. This web development should fix that. While I ran Windows I was never short of something to tinker with or fix, something was always going wrong. Now that I have been running Gentoo Linux for the past year or so I’ve had nothing to do, and what there was to tweak and play with has been so finely tuned that now I’m to a point where I am 100 percent happy with the way things are running. In other words, I’m bored. On the plus side I’m working on another layout for this website, only next time I wont be taking this layout down and putting the new one in its place. Instead I will give each user the chance to select which theme they would like to view. The new theme is going to keep the same color scheme but I’m aiming on making the feel a lot lighter, which will hopefully make the text easier to read for those of you who find this layout hard to process. If I have the time I might even put up an improved version of my original theme I had back in the beginning… you remember right? Yep, the blue one! I’ll see how it goes anyway.
