Yay!!!!! I finished work today for the next 3 weeks, and it feels sooo good to be free! My day at work was uneventful, except for the pounding headache which seemed to love me for most of the morning.

After work I had a shave, it hardly even seems noteworthy to mention except that I hadn’t shaved for a couple of weeks. You see when people have weddings the bride can get her hair done, makeup done, nails done, and and anytihng else she feels like getting done to herself….well…..done. Guys on the other hand, we shower, dress, and we turn up….big deal. So I thought to myself, why not make myself as ugly as possible before the wedding so when I turn up on the day I look obviously different, maybe even better! So again I thought, and I thought, and then it came to me, I will not shave until the wedding. I’ll grow lots of ugle wiskas and look really shaggy, then I will shave on the day and I will look smart and handsome…..Good in theory, only my face got itchy, so I shaved. Now I am back to my normal self, without anything to improve on the big day……oh well. At least I get to wear a suit, Melly hasn’t seen me in one yet, maybe that will do. I did look shaggy for a while though…points for trying!!!

Tonight we went to Melly’s Mum’s place for dinner, with her family who is up for the wedding. We had a barbeque, and sat around the tv talking and watching All Saints. I got some time to see Lily (Melly’s niece) and play, that was fun! She’s such a little cutie. Zane (Lily’s little bro) was already in bed when we got there, so I didn’t get any nice baby hugs. But they are up for the whole week until after the wedding so there’s plenty of time.

Tonight I am working on my wedding speech, the order of service, and a music compilation for the reception. Wish me luck as I have no idea what to write for my speech, and the closer I get the more I just feel like winging it. If anyone has any ideas, please comment and let me know….any help would be great!

Anyways, that’s all for today. Tomorrows gonna be busy so I best get an early night.
